To activate Windows, you need a digital license or a product key. If you’re ready to activate, select Turn On Activation in Settings. Click Change product key to enter a Windows product key. If Windows was previously activated on your device, your copy of Windows 10 or Windows 11 should be activated automatically.
- If you are performing a fresh installation of Windows 10, you will be prompted to enter your code during installation
- After installation, to enter the product key, select the Start button, and then select Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Update product key > Change product key, Or simply click the link bellow :

Error code: 0xC004C008 / 0xc004c020 – If you get error code 0xC004C008 / 0xc004c020Â please use Phone Activation as described bellow.

To activate Windows 10 by phone, follow the guide below:
- Press the Win+R keys to open Run, then type: SLUI 4, then click on OK.
(Note that there is a space between SLUI and 4.)
- Select your country or region, then click Next.
- In this step you need to provide your Installation ID to our support get Confirmation ID
- Once you have entered the Confirmation ID, you can click Activate Windows and if your product key is valid and the numbers have been typed in correctly, you should be all set.
